CAN YOU BUY AN EXTRA CONTROLLER? ARE THERE TWO PERSON GAMES?
• There are a few games: - Beach Buggy Racing: a racing game kind of like Mario Kart but not as good. 4 Player max I believe. - Bomb Squad: a fun iteration of bomberman like game. I think you can have 8 players. - Riptide: another racing game, this one uses watercraft. Pretty fun, I think it is 4 players also. There is plenty of others but those 3 are my favorite.
• No there are no 2 person games...which is stupid. This was a half assed launch by amazon. The selection of gamesvis horrible. Really not worth it unless you have have money to blow. It's fun to play some some apps on the big screen, but very few apps available. Really stupid u cant access google play store. Amazon store blows!
• Yes, you can buy an extra controller. I really don't know if they have two person games, I haven't checked, or purchased any. They should have, just check for it.
• So far I have found multiplayer games but you take turns. When we use the game controller and the regular remote they both work but act as one player.

• Yes. The Amazon Fire TV box connects to your TV via HDMI cable and to the internet via Ethernet cable or WiFi. You can continue to use either your smart TV or Amazon TV to watch shows or movies. The Amazon TV box does a better job of integrating Amazon shows, movies and music if you subscribe to Amazon prime. You will need to buy your own HDMI cable.
• It'll work with any HDTV with HDMI slot. It doesn't have to be smart TV as this device will turn "dumb" TV into smart TV.

• Dear Jesse, If by the gaming remote you mean the game-controller, then it does have voice search as advertised. If you mean the regular handheld remote control, then you would have to purchase one separately because the gaming edition does not come with a handheld remote control. Only the game controller.

• The gaming edition IS fire tv. The fire tv is a brand consisting of this (the box), and the stick. Both do the same thing, but this version is the more powerful one. This one comes with the game controller which acts as both a game controller and remote control. I would suggest you also get the remote control (order separately) because the controller doesn't make for a very good remote.
• You don't need the actual television, but you need the fire tv "box" & controller. Everything you need comes with it.

• The first one I received had the same problem... 1. Hold down the 'Home' button until the light cycles. This should pair it. Or - 2. Unplug power for 15-20 seconds, then reconnect power. The reset should work. If it does not remedy the problem, then you may have to request a replacement unit like I did.

• Actually the selection of driving games seems pretty slim. I couldn't find much, including ones that have been android staples for years. Not sure why I couldn't find Asphalt or any of the more established driving games. Riptide GP2 is a good one but it's on jet skis.
