QUESTION: OLDER PERSON HERE, AND WONDERING IF THE ASSEMBLY IS AS EASY AS IT SAYS. THANKS.
• I'm in my early 60s and have arthritis. It was fairly easy for me. A plus is the individual components are not heavy. I can lift and carry 40 lbs. the one thing I had a little difficulty with was seating the shelves. I did use a small hammer to help me seat them. The instructions gave that recommendation. I hope this is helpful information. PS: you will need a pair of scissors to cut the plastic ties used to secure the shelves together for shipping .
• I am in 70s and have arthritis, etc. and found this easy enough to put together to order another set and now another. One thing I found that helped was the advice on another similar unit to put together the bottom half with a couple of shelves before screwing the top halves of the poles on and finishing. Wrestling with the long poles while trying to put on the lower shelves is difficult and the shelves are heavy to lift comfortably to head height while the poles are still wobbling around. The shelves secure the poles. Very nice shelving unit.
QUESTION: IS IT POSSIBLE TO INSTALL THE SHELVES "UPSIDE DOWN" SO THAT THE SHELVES SERVE MORE AS TRAYS, WITH THE RAISED SIDES KEEPING OBJECTS FROM ROLLING OFF?
• i don't think so they clip in - and it probably wouldnt work. not sure i would buy this again...shelf isnt sturdy
• It won't go together correctly. I tried to install them upside down and it wouldn't work.

• Yes most definitely, but that being said the wire is metal wires have about a 1/2" between eachother so I would get clear plexi cut down to the shelf w& depth to insert inside so items don't roll out inbetween.
• No. Due to the taper of the sleeves on the shelves which hold them on the tube at each corner, the shelf orientation can not be changed.

• I guess it depends on what you'd be storing. When upside down, the cross bars are slightly above the shelf, so would not lay flat, unless using for something like towels, bedding etc. They are really great sturdy shelves. Roll easily. Hope this helps.

• Best bet it to measure your mixer and compare to the listed dimensions. Should be fine for storage, but I would not plan on using the shelves as a rolling work platform.
• Yes. It is sturdy enough to hold the mixer. The shelving heights are adjustable when you assemble it. Just choose your desired height as you are putting it together.

• The information says "350 lbs. for each shelf", which would total 1750 lbs. I use mine for storing cookware, but I have my doubts the claim of strength by the seller is correct. To put it another way, I wouldn't trust the unit to hold that much weight.
• I'm not sure of the weight limit, but I wouldn't recommend too heavy of items placed on it it. It is not as durable as the TRINITY EcoStorage 5-Tier NSF Wire Shelving Rack with Wheels, 36 by 18 by 72-Inch, Chrome. This is a more durable shelving unit.
